Dawn of the Frontal Flyer

In 1975 I did a shaping stint down at Klemm Bell in Torquay. Ted Bainbridge, who owns a bunch of surf shops down in Victoria called Peninsular Surf, took some pics just after I arrived with a new boards shaped up at The Burleigh Surf Co. The idea behind the Frontal Flyer, as it became known, was to create several varying planshapes within the one board. The further the rail was laid into a turn the straighter it became. Rode it for a few months, dont remember what happened to it.
